A Season of Healing

This is a remake of a beautiful artwork I sold at my first solo exhibition in New Jersey, Roots of Light. The original received so much love that several people hoped to purchase it. To honor that painting and preserve it as a true one of a kind, I have reimagined the piece with meaningful changes so I can now offer it to others in a new way.

A Season of Healing will be available exclusively as a print on canvas. The original felt alive. I sculpted the faces and vines so they lifted from the canvas, then added real flowers that I handpicked, dried, and pressed myself. Printing this piece on canvas best preserves the depth, movement, and spirit that made the original so special.

Like many of my works, but especially this one, A Season of Healing is deeply personal. It captures the many faces we wear and the emotions we carry through different seasons of healing. There is fear that leaves us feeling silenced. There is sadness, pain, and the quiet exhaustion of surviving what others may never see. Then, above it all, there is peace.

Healing does not happen in a straight line, and it does not wear only one face. It changes with us. It grows through the darkest places, slowly weaving pain into strength and survival into something beautiful.

This piece is the journey from pain to peace. It is a reminder that every emotion has a place in healing, and even the most broken parts of us can eventually begin to bloom.
