Out of the Darkness

This is an example of one of the new prints I am offering, inspired by an original piece that was previously sold to a private collector shown in last photograph.

When I sold the original, I promised that it would remain one of a kind. Honoring that promise was incredibly important to me. Rather than simply reproducing it, I printed a photograph I had taken of the original onto thick fine art paper that I could paint and draw on. From there, I reimagined the image by hand, adding new details, deeper contrasts, and an entirely different feeling. The result became a new work with a new title: Out of the Darkness.

Unlike the original, this reimagined version is available in an unlimited quantity.

I am still creating and offering one-of-a-kind original artwork. However, during these difficult economic times, original art sales have slowed. After being asked repeatedly about prints, I finally decided it was time to change the way I viewed printed art. Offering prints allows more people to connect with my work and bring it into their homes at a more accessible price.
