There are two kinds of people: those who fear the storm—and those who feel an electric surge pulse through their bodies when the sky turns black and the wind begins to rise.

I am the one who chases the thrill of it.

I love the moment the air changes and the wind gathers strength, creating something we cannot see, yet something powerful enough to uproot trees, lift a car from the earth, and throw it through the air as if it weighs nothing. We cannot hold the wind in our hands. We cannot see where it begins or where it ends. Still, we would never dare deny its existence.

Faith is believing in the power of something unseen.

When someone tells me they place their faith in nothing beyond themselves, I want to tell them: chase a colossal storm. Stand beneath a blackened sky as the invisible becomes undeniable. Feel the wind rise against your body—and discover how small you truly are beside a force you cannot even see.

Perhaps believing has never required proof.

Perhaps it only requires the courage to stand still long enough to feel the unseen moving all around you.
